Off tomorrow

Dragon and I are library bound again tomorrow.

I found this news entertaining.

The new book Silverfin by Charlie Higston is going to be a movie (what a surprise!) and the Irish Examiner reports:

Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe and Billy Elliot star Jamie Bell are battling it out to play suave superspy James Bond in a new movie about his teenage years.
Jamie Bell was wonderful in Billy Elliot. It would be fun to see him again. A check of IMDB shows that he is "Jimmy" in Peter Jackson's upcoming King Kong.

Interestingly, Anthony Horowitz's Stormbreaker is currently filming with another 'A' list of actors. His character Alex Rider has "James Bond" sort of adventures. I love those books.

I love your dragon - he's so cute !!

I like the idea of Jamie Bell playing the young Bond (not that I've read Higston's books) - I thought he was brilliant in Billy Elliot, but I've not yet seen any of his other films: Nicholas Nickleby and Deathwatch (a WW1 film) being the two I've most interest in seeing...

It will be fun to see him in Jackson's Kong too.

Hmm, I'm not sure if I'm going to go and see it - I'm not that big a fan of the big monster, or even of Jackson's work (the LotR films are all I've seen of his output)...
