Constitution day has been dropped on colleges and universities too. Our college had to create a lecture series at the last moment to celebrate Constitution Day.
On another blog I found a reference to all the fun the colleges were having with the day. I love the idea of a "samba parade of faculty dressed as articles and amendments."
