My young reading friends will be very pleased that one of their favorite series is coming to the big screen. This series is a favorite with my Redwall readers. Sounds like author Kathryn Lasky will be doing the screenplay.

Warner Bros. has acquired film rights to Kathryn Lasky's fantasy series Guardians of Ga'Hoole.
Variety reports the studio plans to make a CG-animated movie from the books with Donald De Line producing.

I hope the company doing it doesn't screw it up. I love these books, but I can't imagine a barn owl with a human voice... At least technology is pretty advanced.

I belive she only just heard(the author) they were going to make a movie in November or December of last year(2005) It will take a while, maybe years if they're going to make it REAL good.

My and my little brother are so excited to see the movie. We have every single one. I think Hoole, from the cover of The Coming of Hoole, is, like, the cutest thing. I hope the movie's in cum. animation, with some live owls.
Guardians of Ga'Hoole is coming out next year. Day or month unknown. It is rated PG and got 3 stars. It was made by WB. I'll try to find the website that posted it.
I really hope the movie is like the chronicles of narnia, I am in love with tthe series, and it is my 2nd favourite series.

Exile is the 14th book.I saw it on the listings of the books inside The River of Wind-which I read and own.I can't wait until the movie comes out!!!!!!!!

omg i love these bookz so much for the last 2 years ive dedicated mylife to owlz and these bookz! i have adopted to owlz now. i got the papers ! i can only keep them til they get big enough and able to be on their own! i no thiz movie will jiuts be amazing as the bookz it will be weird hear the voices that have gone through my head so many times late at night! i cant wait ! i will be first in line ! ps- i have raed all bookz 1-13 and the guide!!!! they are just amzing !! pss- the movie comes out either in 2009 or 2010 they are starting script

it's coming july 30 2010 and i can't wait! i also can't wait for lost tales of the great tree to come out. i've been searching for sneek peeks but can't find any. too bad the series ended with book 15 war of the ember.
I hope everyone who knows and loves the books goes to see this movie, I wonder if we can make this bigger than twilight? probably not. We should try!
