Nice interview with Judy Blume on NPR Wednesday evening. In the interview, Michele Norris referred to the challenges Blume's books have sometimes faced in school libraries but did not belabor the point. Norris remembered her own girlhood enjoyment of Are you there God? It's me, Margaret. She can still remember the color of the book cover. It is Blume's "favorite" book even though it is hard to choose just one.
