The word moot is an archaic term meaning "argue, debate, discuss." In early English history, a moot was a meeting to discuss local affairs. Moot comes from the Old English gemot, meaning "meeting."
The Texas Library Association announces: Togo by Robert J. Blake has overwhelmingly won the Texas Bluebonnet Award for 2005. Great book. For more on Robert J. Blake check out his website. His Togo sketchbook is very interesting.
