The word moot is an archaic term meaning "argue, debate, discuss." In early English history, a moot was a meeting to discuss local affairs. Moot comes from the Old English gemot, meaning "meeting."
I only just started The Lightning Thief, so I saw the first preview for the film before I started reading the book, and it was a factor in my decision to start reading it. I'm such a slave to the media, and that preview is cool.
im 22 and i LOVE these books so does everyone else at my college! so good! and i love the way percy looks, except i was hoping for a different person as annabeth. but awesome a movie!!

I think the movie will bring even more readers to the books!
We're hoping to schedule a school screening at a local theatre because we ALL want to see this one!
I'm glad to see another teaser. Thanks for posting this. I'm looking forward to Steve Coogan as Hades. I think he will be quite good.
