The word moot is an archaic term meaning "argue, debate, discuss." In early English history, a moot was a meeting to discuss local affairs. Moot comes from the Old English gemot, meaning "meeting."

Fuse #8 is not asking for just one. She's giving me 10 whole slots and a whole month to come up with my top ten middle grade books of all time. Why is this so hard?
I had a hard time killing my darlings. Ten is so very hard! I was shocked to find so much fantasy on my list. Who knew?
