The word moot is an archaic term meaning "argue, debate, discuss." In early English history, a moot was a meeting to discuss local affairs. Moot comes from the Old English gemot, meaning "meeting."

Children's Song
Rob Paravonian who brought us the brilliant "Pachelbel Rant" has now posted his take on children's songs.
Aaacckkk! "Rippy the Gator went chomp, chomp, chomp.." horrific lyrics melded with a bright and cheerful tune... Too close for comfort. We have gator sightings on a regular basis in this part of the world.
